Ok, finally the news came through about the Chicagoland venue/location for novelist Ted Dekker’s book tour (coming this week). Ticks me off slightly that rather than seek a better venue– including one I was prepared to help set up for them– the publicist or whomever settled for the cliche’d choice of a bookstore in conservative and cliche’d Wheaton. Oh well. I’m pretty sure I’ll still go. I just wish such supposedly professional content providers and promoters would stop lazily “preaching to the choir” and start showing some ingenuity in getting the word out and expanding their audience. It ain’t like the number of people who read actual novels is GROWING, is it?
See you there, hopefully…

THE OUTLAW ….TOUR WITH TED DEKKER
Wheaton, IL // November 4th @ 6:00p
Our venue fell through so, instead, we’re holding the Chicago event in a local bookstore, which is going to be fun.
.
There are a few elements that Ted will have to skip, things that we’ve been able to do at the other events, but he’ll still have the chance to speak and share his heart with everyone before the book signing.
Join us Monday, Nov. 4th @ 6p:
LifeWay (Wheaton)
261 Town Square
