QUIET Hollywood powerhouse Sandy Bullock onstage now, talking about editors and how they make actors look good (or real, or appropriately bad, etc). Editors don’t get their props. Good for you, Sandra. Good for you, Oscar presenter scriptwriters.

Argo gets its first win of the night for editing (Arkin should have won Best Supporting, but whatever…). I’m not surprised, and really glad. Argo will take home 3 or 4 more before the night is out. It is my genreation’s “All the President’s Men”. If you get a chance, check out CNN’s Piers Morgan interviewing Jimmy Carter, with Carter clarifying how the Canadians were the real heroes of that rescue, while the CIA was just a subcontractor.

Adele gets to sig her Skyfall them, the best Bond theme in 20 years, so we just shut up and listen. We don’t criticize her hair, her dress, her weight. Just shut up and listen to that great voice, great song.

Commercial time, time to post.
